Jodie is a strong advocate for the value of the Arts and the establishing a community of individual celebration.
As an Educator, she works to embrace the artist in all students and foster industry pathways to future success. This includes a strong focus on the 21st century skills that will prepare young people for the future workforce.
In 2019, Jodie was recognised on The Educator’s Hot List for her Arts Innovation and community-based projects that raise awareness of political and social issues within the Ipswich Community. Working closely with the Domestic Violence Action Centre, she aims to use the Arts as a means to challenge, empower and unite participants.
As a board member, Jodie is eager to apply her knowledge of the educational context to develop programs and communities that facilitate growth and connection both within student artists and across the Ipswich Region.
